Totsuka Shota to Play Kiritani Mirei’s Love Interest in his First Movie

Kiritani Mirei gets to play with another Johnny. XD

It was announced that A.B.C.-Z‘s Totsuka Shota will appear in the movie, “Koisuru Vampire” (Vampire in Love) with actress Kiritani Mirei. This will be Totsuka’s first movie.

“Koisuru Vampire” is a warm love story between a vampire and a human. Kiritani plays a vampire named Kiira who wants to be the best patissier in the world while Totsuka plays the role of Tetsu, Kiira’s childhood friend and first love, who aims to be a musician. The two were re-united after many years and soon starts dating while Kiira hides her true identity.

The movie’s producer, Miyajima Shuji, revealed that he chose Totsuka for the role after he saw him in a play 5-6 years ago and thinks that Totsuka is perfect to play the naive role.

Filming for the movie is over and “Koisuru Vampire” will be show on TOHO cinemas starting on Apr 17th. In addition, the movie will also be shown in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
