Higashiyama Noriyuki to Star in “Yokokuhan” TV Drama

A drama before the movie? Well, “Kinkyori Renai” movie became successful so I guess this will workout too.

It was announced that Higashiyama Noriyuki will star in WOWOW drama series, titled: “Yokokuhan-THE PAIN-“. The said drama is a spin-off Ikuta Toma‘s movie Yokokuhan that will be set a year after the movie.

In the drama, Sakuma Eiji (Higashiyama) is a judge who secretly leads Shimbushi where in they hold a pseudo-trial online and imposes judgement to defendants who can’t be punished by law. Toda Erika, who is also in the movie version  as the fiery head of Tokyo Police Department’s Cybercrime Division, will attempt to take the group down.

Also in the drama, are: Kiritani Kenta, Ichikawa Mikako, and Hashimoto Satoshi.

“Yokokuha- THE PAIN-” will start this Apr 6th.
